Holy bathtub in Ganga Sagar on Makar Sankranti, greater than 30 lakh devotees took a dip of religion
On the event of Makar Sankranti, about 30 lakh devotees on Tuesday took a dip in Gangasagar, the confluence of Hooghly River and Bay of Bengal in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Officers stated that regardless of the extreme chilly, the devotees took holy bathtub and supplied prayers at Kapil Muni’s ashram. The auspicious time of Shahi Snan began at 6.58 am and can proceed for twenty-four hours.
