Farmer Annu Singh Chauhan, resident of Dharamgarh, said that his own height is five feet six inches, but the gourds growing in his house have grown even taller than him. Annu Singh said that he does not remember from where he got this bottle gourd vine seed, but last year many bottle gourds even bigger than this were found in it. For the present vine, it was planted in the month of August, in which when the gourd arrived, its length also reached about six feet.

Farmer surprised to see gourd

However, generally the length of gourd is seen to be one and a half to two feet. But the length of the gourd growing in Annu Singh’s house is more than twice this. The farmer himself is surprised to see this. When the people of nearby villages asked farmer Annu Singh to get information about bottle gourd seeds, he said that we do not know from where the seeds came to us. But last year also we had sown the same seed and a longer gourd had grown on the vine.
