Russia’s Federal Safety Service (FSB) has launched footage of the arrest of a person suspected of finishing up Tuesday’s high-profile assassination of Lieutenant Common Igor Kirillov, the top of Russia’s Radiological, Chemical, and Organic Safety Forces.

Common Kirillov and his aide, Maj. Ilya Polikarpov, have been killed by an improvised explosive system planted exterior a residential constructing in Moscow early Tuesday morning. In accordance with Russian authorities, the bomb was connected to an electrical scooter parked close to the constructing’s entrance and was detonated remotely.

On Wednesday, Russia’s Investigative Committee reported that the suspect, a 29-year-old man from Uzbekistan, was detained within the Moscow area. The FSB carried out the arrest with assist from the Russian Nationwide Guard’s speedy response unit, the service mentioned.
