ISIS-linked terror plot foiled in Moscow – FSB – INA NEWS
Russia’s Federal Safety Service (FSB) has stated that its operatives have prevented a terrorist assault ready in Moscow by members of the jihadist group ISIS-Okay, the Afghan department of Islamic State (IS, previously ISIS/ISIL).
The suspects resisted arrest and have been eradicated throughout a shootout with officers, the safety company stated in a press release on Friday.
In keeping with the FSB, the members of the ISIS-Okay (often known as Islamic State – Khorasan, or Wilayat Khorasan) cell, comprised of people from Central Asian nations, have been planning to explode a police station within the Russian capital.
The FSB stated its consideration was drawn to the suspects, who had sworn allegiance to IS, after they started gathering details about the power that that they had chosen as their goal.
